Waraku East Coast Oct 21. PART 1

Yea!!!! Is time to visit my favourite restaurant again!! My brother’s birthday!!

It was going fine until we reached the place. The place is EXTREMELY full!

Saddened, My family waited there. I didn’t. I went to the East Coast beach to practice Photography.

I ended up taking 14 shots. But i feel that only a few are actually good. Here are my pictures.~~

Being such an unfortunate person, I actually had a headache. I went to the nearby BK to sleep. (Ok, that sightly worked)

OK! then i went back. The queue was still !#$%  long. Then I somewhat convinced my brother and my dad to go. My mum insisted to wait. I find it weird. I thought they would call us when it was our turn? We went to the arcade and played a few racing games.

AND GUESS WHAT? We went to the Waruku comepetitor, A korean BBQ place

[Thanks to my dad, who wanted to "bypass" the place to go to Waruku] (YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN HOW IT LOOKED LIKE. OMG)

The place is what i describe as [An unsuitable human habitiat.] Smoke engulfed the place. We could almost feel the lack of oxygen. When we ran out of the place, We could smell a smoky  smell on our clothes (I WONDER HOW THOSE PEOPLE SURVIVE INSIDE, is an indoor charcoal bbq. OMG) [I will never eat Korean BBQ in my whole life.]

Finally we ran out of the place to save ourselves. Finally we are back to humanity and Singapore air never felt fresher.

We went back to Waruku. And the staff escorted us into the restuarant my mum was like.. FINALLY!!!!

Their Customer Service was so good until we felt scared. The mananger sincerely apologized to us (We never even book the place to start with) And gave us $10 discount coupons. Not long after that, we were presented with 4 glasses of orange juice. The manager said “Sorry for the long wait. We will give you another 4 glasses of orange juice.

For the verbal apology, the customer service is already said as high standard. Some restaurants don’t even bother to respond to you or even ask you to shut up if you are complaining. Not to say giving gifts,(Which i would say, the customer service is “upgraded” to heavenly.) I would expect such good customer service form a Japanese store.

Ok! The Customer Service is not limited to making the customers happy after a long wait outside the restaurant. Beside me was a couple. They just ordered their food, then, after a FEW minutes, a waiter approached their table and said, “I see that you have not been served. May I check for you?” I was like. WOW WOW WOW!!!!. And it seems like they are trained to smile or sth. Is not even fake. Or maybe they are really happy with their job.

The Restaurant has 2 Tatami Mat Private Rooms and a Public Tatami mat room. Most of the seats are modern chairs though (Those two rooms can only fit in a few guests. And im not the lucky one.)

OKOKOKOK enough on the description. You guys must be “Hungry” about what i ate. haha.

OKOK I admit that i took my photo too late. But you see the thing. The Beef takes some time to cook(It is raw. and btw, for those of you who dun eat beef, you can opt for chicken).

So i ate the noddles (Right) and the photo salad.) The centre is a bowl full of egg yolk. It is poured into the Beef pot.

See the Beef Pot, close up.

My Family members ate different set meals. (Post Later)

WAIT FOR PART 2 MINNA!!!!

Cho Liang Lin and the SCO @ Esplanade.UPDATED

Hi guys. Last Last Saturday, i went to this concert called Cho Liang Lin and The SCO at the Durian Esplanade

Well, the concert pretty sums up the whole thing.

Cho Liang Lin is a famous (dunno? never see him b4) violinist in America.

Well, Another of Tsung Yeh’s concert. The Esplanade Concert was good. It was a rather good choice picking the Esplanade for this concert….

The show mainly comprises of bowed string instruments the Erhu, The Banhu Gaohu Zhonghu(The Erhu Family, which Gao and Ban are sharper than the erhu while Zhonghu is like a bass) as well as the violin(obvious)…

The melodious and calming tone of the instruments swiftly flows through the Esplanade and bounces off the wall, which was designed for superior sound reproduction and good echoing.

Well, despite the HUGE security level in the concert hall, i managed to swipe some pictures.(My phone was almost conflicated in the process).

*Thump**Thump* Walking up the stairs

STOMP* STOMP* CANT WAIT TO GET INSIDE!!!!!

YEA!!! Look at the fine art of the hall.

The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra.

Hi! Quite some time ago, i watched this music video in the library.

Wow! It is amazing, it was mainly a percussion show (with a whole orchestra) By the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra

Famous Songs would include Horse Race and Long Ten Hu Yue (Flying Dragons and Leaping Tigers)

Yes, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the Chinese Music Scene, the chinese orchestra is rather modernized. If you don’t believe, go to a Chinese Orchestra Concert one day and you will know…………..

There are many premeires (Songs which are never released before).

This would include the Japanese Taiko with the Chinese Orchestra (POWER DRUM SONG) literally. That is the name of the song.

Okinawa Taiko Group (Starting)

Spectacular Twin Taiko Druming by the Twin Sisters(Forgot their sirname) From Okinawa

A member of the Okinawa Group. (Chinese Orchestra in the background)

Another Popular song, Long Ten Hu Yue(By Li Minxiong) which is, In English is ‘Flying Dragons and Leaping Tigers”

Pepper Lunch Meal (9/9) EDITED.

Hi, recalling my past experiences in Pepper Lunch.

I was on the way to my Japanese class. Realizing that I still have 3 more hours to go, I went to this restuarant(Well, it looks like one) to do revision and etcetc.

Japanese readers might find it interesting that their trend of lunches is becoming popular in Singapore…. Read More…

All of you must be wondering why Im writing this. LOL. In fact, the whole world is writing it.

Mr Aso is als an interesting man. Well, there are claims that he was spotted in the comic shop and he also started the manga worldwide competition. (Now, I don’t even know whether it is for he personal interest aor to gain popularity.)

His own toygs. The Japanese label in red is ” Aso-Chan no.. Gyunyu kasutera.

well, the young Japanese seem to like him.
A boy, who is…younger than 20, said.
“Aso understands the youth culture.”

An Extract from one of his rallies
“Do you know this game to play on your cell phone that checks your mind-set?” Aso asked the crowd, waving his mobile phone.

“You can do so much on your mobile phones these days. This is because the state-run telecommunication firm was privatised thanks to deregulation,” he said, applauding the LDP’s reform policy.

His “Youthfulness” has affected business too. On a positive note.

Extract from a Newspaper, Bloomberg.

Mandarake Inc. and other animation-related companies saw their shares surge in trading in Tokyo on speculation that comic book fan Taro Aso would succeed Shinzo Abe as Japan’s next prime minister.

Word of Mr. Abe’s resignation sent shares of Mandarake, a Tokyo-based comic and animation store chain, up by their daily limit of ¥50,000 ($454.23) to close at ¥436,000.

Speculation rose that Mr. Aso, Liberal Democratic Party general secretary, would succeed him as leader. Mr. Aso is known to enjoy comics and anime – Japanese animation.

“Rumour has it that [Mr.] Aso reads the weekly comic book magazines,” said Takero Inaizumi, a spokesman for Mizuho Investors Securities. “The rise in comic book shares will likely be temporary.”

A rather sporty minsiter. I hope that if his interest are true and help promote anime worldwide.

The aim of my blog.

Hello my valued readers,

It has been sometime since i started this blog. I think that I have been posting wierd post, or even imcomplete posts. For that, im sorry.

My 2nd earliest post, The evaluation of the PC fair, act one, is not complete. I didn’t even add act two.

Reason for that is that during that time, I don’t bother to do simple things like, uploading photos from phone then to my photo sharing website.

I take an average of about at least 40 photos for an exciting event, but i din even bother to post up one.

But now i know. I know how to the load photos faster and less hassling.

And now im trying to improve the quality of the posts.

When i first started this blog, my aim was to review/recount many exciting events that i go too (I been too alot, but i only posted a few.) Fellow readers, I hope that you will have more faith in me and give me some time to hone my skills as a blogger.

I will post more things tommorow.=D be sure to look out and give suggestions and comments to my posts!!!

I thank you all, for reading my posts!
